Hiraeth House is a 6-bedded residential care home for adults living with a mental health diagnosis on the out-skirsts on Swansea City Centre.

 

This service is staffed 24/7 by skilled Mental Health Support Workers headed up by an experienced Registered Manager who is also a qualified RMN.

The team at Hiraeth House are able to meet a range of support needs and manage risks safely, helping to keep people in the community rather than in hospital.

The ethos of Hiraeth House is to provide a safe, recovery focused residential care environment to those who need it. Integrating individuals back into the community whilst reliving the bed-pressures in acute in-patient hospital settings. 

 

Our founders and directors, with NHS background, saw the need for high quality post-hospital support.

The team pride themselves on a solid understanding of all aspects of mental health support, promoting independence and recovery and monitoring risk and relapse indicators. 

We accept referrals from Local Authorities, Health Boards and Private Funders. 

Based on our extensive collective experience we accept referrals of service users with complex needs including a history of offending or higher risk service users.
